Ringing in the new year of 2018 with some good ol’ resolutions that will probably be given up by the end of the month! But, to make sure that doesn’t happen, here are some tips & tricks to creating a successful new year! Good Luck

•Create an inspiring journal that contains all of your hopes and dreams for the new year - or for your life time
•This should be an easy accessible tool, so use a planner, every-day journal, or a piece of paper you can stick somewhere that you know it will always be there
•Include (but optional): Sticky notes, Quotes, Pictures, Ideas, Lots of color, Drawings - anything you can name!
•The only rule is : BE CREATIVE & UNIQUE

•The other way around a journal is to create an actual list if that is more beneficial to how you plan things
•Most of the stuff should be reasonable - Dont get too harsh on your self where you might end up ditching it as a whole because you couldn’t accomplish something
•Be fun with you highlighters and pens - Cross things off as you finish something and add more stuff as you go
•Make sure your big goals/ longer time period goals are more noticeable than the others

•Another thing is a dream board!
•Dream boards are a journal on the wall
•It contains everything from pictures to postcards and quote to letters
•This should be aesthetically pleasing to your own eye (not someone elses’) so that you remind your self of the bigger picture, Your Goals!!
•How to make this: you can use cork board and push pins or poster board and tape but don’t forget the fun colors and decorations
TIPS:
Making journals and boards are an easy one day exercise but, remembering to follow through well, thats a 365 day task (until the next board). A tip to stay on track is to make a daily habit to open your journal or look at the board in the morning and at night so you can really get a sense of what you want. You can even set alarms if thats your style (reminders on your phone helps as well). Remember - Stay fun, Creative, and Unique. This is for you and only you, unless otherwise. Don’t create goals if they aren’t making you happy or benifit in a positive way. So, to all you resolutioners for 2018: Good Luck, Stay on track, & Have Fun!!
