Starting my Youtube Channel

⭐ before, during, and where I am at now 📷
For the longest time I have been acting like my whole life is a Youtube video. And, if you grew up watching Youtube I bet you have done the same. I have fallen in love with talking to the camera and letting people in on what I am doing through out the day. Granted my life is not very exciting and fun but I make it fun by doing this.
I remember a while back I was in elementary school and posted a video of me singing (I can't sing) that got a lot of views for what I expected. I then lost the password to the account so that video is on Youtube forever. I get a laugh out of it and most people do but I remember watching the views go up and being like "wow this is really cool." It was from then on when I started acting like I was living in a Youtube video. Always doing DIY's and cooking but explaining it to the camera.
I have a passion for telling stories and engaging with other people so I think that is where my love for making videos and talking to the camera comes from. I do get embarrassed and nervous all of the time but have found a way to try to not let that take over me. So many people now a days are on social media, making videos, taking pictures, etc. so this isn't any different.
Recently, I started to get more active on TikTok and now people walk up and say they saw my video and my initial response is to say, "how embarrassing", but honestly I am not embarrassed because while I was making that 15 second long video or however long it was, I was having fun. I was able to play around with different edits and make thing look good.
I said it was a goal of mine to blog more and write more but I haven't been doing that a lot. I have been focused on other things but have found some extra time to put my efforts into making videos and blogging more. It seems like a good balance to me.
I spend A LOT of money... for no reason. So, to justify it I have decided to turn my account into a haul/fashion/lifestyle account. My first video that I am working on right now is a haul video. I had so much fun going back through everything I bought and showing you guys what I like and what I don't like. I am currently going to school right now for something so unrelated to fashion but I have some desire to learn more about fashion and trends on a professional level to be able to do something with it.
I have tons of ideas but also don't know where to start. I think a lot of the time people think its so easy for creators to think of ideas and then post frequently. So I have some accountability, I am aiming towards a video a week while I get started and find my niche and what works best for me and then upgrade to something more. I will be active on here as well giving you guys my insights and how everything is going.
My next post will be my process working with brands with such little followings and how I think that will help me grow my platform. At the end of the day it is all about me having fun and doing something I am passionate about. It is like a little hobby to me that has potential to grow into something bigger. With that being said, I am excited to have you guys along with me and we can see if this is a flop or not!
